Jackie was a next door neighbor and friend for many years growing up in Mt. Vernon. He brought me into the volunteer fire department back in 1964 and from there I went on to the paid department in Pelham Manor. We shared lots of good times and laughter through the years and I remember his wedding to his wife Stella. He surely will be in my prayers as he was definitely a good guy, a good friend and will be missed by those that knew him, especially for his good humor and willingness to help others. Rest in Peace my friend until we meet again in Paradise.
