Alex Henry was born on Sunday, October 15, 1950.
This joyous event added a boy to Liliane and Sterling Henry's already beautiful family; comprised of their two fierce and
resolute daughters Isabel and Myrna. The family’s devout Catholic upbringing inspired him to service, initially as an altar boy and then
a lectern in his parish, St. Catherine of Genoa.
In 1968 he graduated from Aviation High School and immediately enlisted to serve in the United States Marine Corps.
Alex received an honorable discharge and went on to study at Pace College. He left in '78 with a degree
in English and, by his admission, the smartest woman in the world.
This union brought him much, including what he described as his favorite of his many jobs: fatherhood. It makes sense then that he professionally was drawn to taking care of those in need and transporting people to where they had to be.
Alex was preceded in death by both his father and his mother. He passed away on November 4, 2025. He is survived by his three children, his former spouse, his two full sisters and all manner of other siblings
